Create your account
To get started, you'll need to verify your email address, enter your basic information, and verify your mobile phone number.
Enter and verify your email address
You will receive an email containing a 4 digit code. Enter this code when prompted.
Enter your basic information
Input your first and last name, create a password for your account, and select your time zone. Your message, calendar, and record timestamps will be displayed in the time zone you select.
Setup additional security
Enter and verify your mobile phone number to enable multi-factor authentication. A 6-digit code will be sent via text message. This step must be completed to enjoy all our features.
Match with your co-parent
To use TalkingParents, you must match your account with your co-parent's account. We provide three easy options to choose from.
If you have a Match ID from your co-parent
If your co-parent has already signed up, they can send you a unique 6-character Match ID to match you to their account. Enter it when prompted.
If you have your co-parent's email address
If you know what email address your co-parent signed up with, enter it when prompted to match with their account.
If you do not have your co-parent's Match ID or email address
If you do not know your co-parent's Match ID or their account email address, you can simply enter your co-parent's first and last name, along with the first name and birthdate of your oldest child in common. It is important that you and your co-parent enter your child's information identically to ensure a proper match.
Still not matched? Send your co-parent an invitation
If you and your co-parent still haven't matched, you can send them an invitation through text, email, or a unique Match ID.
Send them a text
You can send an invitation to your co-parent's mobile phone number via text message. With this option, your co-parent will receive a link to create an account along with your unique 6-character Match ID.
Send them an email
You can send an invitation to your co-parent's email address. With this option, your co-parent will receive a link to create an account along with your unique 6-character Match ID.
No mobile phone number or email address?
Copy the Match ID and send it to your co-parent through another form of communication. This option can be used by co-parents who only communicate through a third-party.

You will receive an email notification that your account has been activated.
